Josh Allen Could Recruit Chiefs Wide Receiver To Join Bills

The Buffalo Bills once again came so close to winning their first Super Bowl in franchise history this season.

They won 13 games during the regular season and secured the second seed for the AFC playoffs. They beat the Denver Broncos in the wild-card round and the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs again in the AFC Championship Game.

It was the long-awaited rematch between the two teams after the Bills beat the Chiefs in Buffalo during the regular season but the Chiefs won the second matchup in Kansas City by a field goal, 32-29.

The Bills have still not been to a Super Bowl since the 1993 season and are trying to get over the hump in a very stacked AFC.

They'll be busy during the offseason trying to add to this roster and one of those additions could be wide receiver Hollywood Brown. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Bills quarterback Josh Allen has long wanted to play with Brown.

"The Chiefs very much want to keep receiver Hollywood Brown, who should have a good market due to teams' desire for speed options on the outside. Mahomes advocated for signing Brown last year and will likely do so again. Will another star quarterback -- like Josh Allen -- be next? People with the Chiefs I spoke to this week believe that Allen has long wanted to play with Brown," Fowler wrote, via ESPN.

The Bills need a new wide receiver for the 2025 season and Brown would fit the bill. He missed the majority of the 2024 season with a shoulder injury before returning at the end of the year and compiling nine receptions for 91 yards.

He played 14 games for the Arizona Cardinals during the 2023 season, finishing with 51 receptions for 574 yards and four touchdowns. His best season came in 2021 as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, compiling 91 receptions for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns.

Let's see if Allen can try to recruit him to the Bills once free agency opens in March.
