The Buffalo Bills are making their final preparations for the upcoming Week 5 showdown against the New England Patriots. It's going to be rocking inside Highmark Stadium, with fans being asked to wear all white as the team will be wearing the Nike Rivalries jerseys for the first time.
There's plenty of history to be made for Buffalo. With a victory, the team can tie a franchise record for the most consecutive regular-season home victories with 15. Not only that, but superstar quarterback Josh Allen can, once again, make history with a win over the Patriots.
Allen can become the first reigning MVP to start 5-0 since Aaron Rodgers did so in the 2015 season.
Josh Allen is also the first reigning MVP to start 4-0 since Patrick Mahomes in 2019 and with a win on this week, can become the first reigning MVP to start 5-0 since Aaron Rodgers in 2015.

Allen has made plenty of history through the early stages of the season, and before the year even began, the reigning MVP has etched his name in the record books. The franchise quarterback already entered the season with the record for total touchdowns in a player's first eight seasons, meaning any additional touchdowns throughout the year just further his record.
The Patriots are no slouch, and they'll be hoping to come into Buffalo and ruin the celebration of the new jerseys. However, fortune hasn't been on the Patriots' side when looking at the last few matchups between the teams, especially at Highmark Stadium.
The Bills have won four straight home games (including playoffs) against the New England Patriots. It's the longest home winning streak against the Patriots since a six-game run in the late 1980s.
With a win, Buffalo can start 5-0 for just the fourth time in team history and the first since the early 1990s. Since 2020, the Bills have the highest winning percentage at home with an .860. Coming into Buffalo and walking away with a victory has been nearly impossible for teams.
It's not just Allen who has a chance to make history, as running back James Cook has put on a clinic through four weeks with no signs of slowing down. With more than 100 scrimmage yards along with a rushing touchdown, Cook can become the third player all-time to do so in each of the first five games of a season, not just in Bills' history, but NFL history. Cook looks worth every penny of his brand new contract and just keeps finding the end zone.
Highmark Stadium has been nearly impossible to conquer, and the Bills are looking to make sure it stays that way. Buffalo has a chance to make yet another statement on Sunday, with history, bragging rights, and momentum in the division all on the line.
