Josh Allen is Huge Fan of Patriots' Young QB

The Buffalo Bills have one of the best quarterbacks of this generation in Josh Allen. He was able to win the NFL Most Valuable Player award, so he knows a thing or two about what it takes to be a QB succeeding at the very top in this league.

In a recent interview, the reigning MVP talked about one of the young field generals in the NFL who he is a big fan of, and that discussion centered around New England Patriots' second-year QB Drake Maye.

"I think Drake is super talented, he's one of my favorite young quarterbacks in the league," Allen said. "I've spent some time around him and he's got his head on his shoulders the right way. He just does things the right way.

"I think that he exemplifies football."

High praise, indeed.

The two have only seen each other briefly, the Pats and the Bills having played two games against each other in Maye's first season in the league, but that is all it took for Allen to get behind him.

In his rookie year with the Patriots, Maye came in part of the way through the season and started in 12 games. He racked up 2,276 yards and 15 touchdowns on just over 66 percent completion. He was also able to get it done with his legs as well by tallying 421 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Maye will get a full season to prove himself in his second year, and he now has former Allen teammate, Stefon Diggs, to throw the ball to. ... and a fan in the stud on the other sideline.
