Josh Allen Reveals How Latest Move Makes Bills 'Dangerous'

The Buffalo Bills' 35-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers at Highmark Stadium moved Sean McDermott's team to 10-2 on the season and clinched the AFC East.

Still with five games to go, it shows how dominant Buffalo has been this season to already have the division and a playoff spot locked up, but now comes the challenge of keeping the rage for the next five weeks.

With Buffalo fighting with the Kansas City Chiefs, whom it beat a few weeks ago 30-21 for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, there is still a big carrot dangling in front of the Bills.

For Josh Allen, winning the division so early is special, and he also slipped in that the Bills, now with that taken care of, can play a different kind of football.

”It's a good feeling,” Allen said. “This one feels a little bit different this early in the season, we still got five games left. The cool thing about it, we get to go out there and we get to play free, there's really no repercussions for what we're doing. But at the same time, we're chasing the one seed, we understand that we know that. It's going to be fun to go out there, play free, play relaxed, and play loose. I think that could be a dangerous team.”

Given that the Bills could already be considered a "dangerous" team, with the second-best offense in football (29.6 p/g) and the sixth-best defense (18.7 p/g), and Buffalo is now playing "free," that's an interesting prospect.

Of course, the No. 1 seed in the AFC is still a big prize, and having the Super Bowl in the AFC run through Buffalo would be the cherry on top of what has already been a superb season.

But the job isn't finished, and the Bills know that; however, their first goal of the year has been completed - now to finish the season with the best possible record and potentially the No. 1 seed.

And playing free and relaxed might help them do it.
