Josh Allen suggests playoff loss last year to Chiefs still fresh on Bills' minds

The Buffalo Bills smashed the New England Patriots to the tune of 47-17 last Saturday night to clinch a spot in the next round of the postseason, where they will meet a familiar foe in the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City held serve against Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium last year, defeating the Bills 38-24. Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen made it clear while speaking with reporters Wednesday he hasn't forgotten what happened the last time he and his teammates played the Chiefs in a road January contest. 

"At the end of the day, we don't want to have that feeling that we had there last year," Allen explained, according to Matt Bove of Buffalo's WKBW. "We know our season ended there last year and now we have to do everything in our power to put our foot forward and make sure it doesn't end there this year. That's our main goal is to go out there and win one game, as is theirs. But again, it's two really good football teams going at it and I'm sure they're excited about the opportunity, as we are."

Allen and company earned a small piece of revenge when they defeated the Chiefs in Kansas City 38-20 in Week 5 on Oct. 10. He finished that outing with 315 passing yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions, and he also contributed 59 rushing yards and an additional score.
