Joshua Palmer gives fans a scare in updated Week 1 Chargers injury report

The first LA Chargers injury report of the year was much different than the injury reports fans have gotten used to. Only two players occupied the injury report as the Bolts head into the season with a mostly healthy squad. Quarterback Justin Herbert was a required addition to the injury report on Thursday morning as he recovers from the plantar fascia injury that had him in a walking boot for two weeks. However, this changed absolutely nothing about Herbert's status as he is 100% ready to go. The addition was merely procedural. Herbert was not the only player added to the injury report on Thursday Wide receiver Joshua Palmer was also added to the report despite being a full participant in practice. If Palmer was a limited participant in Thursday's practice then there would be a lot more concern around his addition to the injury report. Palmer is the only receiver who can realistically play the X in Week 1 if DJ Chark Jr. does not suit up, so not having the former Tennessee Volunteer would be an issue. Palme
