Judge dismisses City of Oakland's lawsuit against Raiders

The City of Oakland has lost its lawsuit against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to ESPN.

The suit was filed in December 2018 and stated that Oakland was demanding damages that resulted from the Raiders' move to Las Vegas and that the NFL was boycotting Oakland and violating antitrust laws.

Sounds ... kind of ridiculous. Judge Joseph Spero said Oakland had no genuine complaints and were not eligible for compensation.

The Raiders' relocation to Las Vegas was an undeniably good move for an organization that was failing in Oakland. With the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights in the city, it seemed right that an NFL team moved to the area.

With the Raiders and the Golden Knights in Las Vegas, the city is going to become even more of a tourist destination. Unfortunately for Raiders fans from California, they're going to have to trek out to Vegas if they want to catch any games in person.
