Justin Fields Leaves Practice With Toe Injury

New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields left today’s training camp practice with an apparent toe injury. The injury occurred on the final play of the team period, when Fields checked it down to Mason Taylor. The pass fell incomplete with Quincy Williams providing tight coverage. Fields walked off the field with a noticeable limp and was later seen under the medical tent before being carted off.

Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed after practice that Fields injured his toe, but said it’s too early to determine the severity.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero later reported that early tests showed no fracture in the toe, but Fields is undergoing an MRI for further evaluation.

JetNation was in attendance for today’s practice and will have a #JetsCamp report coming shortly. Be sure to check out our forums for all the latest from NY Jets Training Camp.
