Justin Jefferson Shows Off Monster Arm
Matt Krohn-USA TODAY Sports

Lately, Justin Jefferson, the superstar wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, has been making waves around town. From catching the action courtside at the Timberwolves playoff game, to showcasing his impressive arm on Sunday at US Bank Stadium, he’s been keeping busy.

Minnesota Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson bouncing around town.

Jefferson snagged some courtside seats for the Timberwolves’ game 1 showdown against the Suns. Not only did he witness the Wolves dominate with a 25-point victory, but he also got to see the other young superstar of the MN sports landscape, Anthony Edwards, show off his skills.

But what’s really got everyone buzzing today is Jefferson’s jaw dropping throw at a Vikings kids camp. Social media is blowing up over a video of him effortlessly chucking the ball a whopping 50+ yards, nailing the goal post like a pro.

In the video, Jefferson steps up and hurls two balls from the Vikings logo at midfield. He misses the first, but his second throw hits the goalpost dead on. It’s not just about power; his accuracy is on point too. This has some Vikings joking (maybe not) that Jefferson should step up at QB1.

Quarterback skills seems to be a Jefferson family tradition. Justin Jefferson’s brother, Jordan, played quarterback for JJ’s alma mater LSU, from 2008 to 2011 . Jordan Jefferson logged 32 starts in Baton Rouge, with an impressive 24-8 record, even earning a shot with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Today’s long-tossing activities were part of Justin Jefferson hosted a mini camp for kids at US Bank Stadium, which must have been really exciting for the 50 or so youngsters in attendance.

Speaking of camps, it’s worth noting that Jefferson wasn’t at the Vikings’ voluntary offseason workout last week at TCO Performance Center, as he awaits his new contract finally getting done.
