The Kansas City Chiefs have a number of solid wide receivers on their roster, including one they selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
That could leave a third-year wideout on the outs on the depth chart.
Justyn Ross has been with the Chiefs ever since they signed him out of Clemson after he went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. But as a result of the team getting more receivers since then, he could be reaching the end of his tenure with the team.
While he might miss part of the 2025 season due to a suspension, Rashee Rice has become a star wideout after being drafted in 2023. Xavier Worthy is a very intriguing weapon, and Hollywood Brown will hopefully play a full season after missing most of 2024 with a shoulder injury.
The team also picked up Utah State's Jalen Royals with the 133rd pick in this year's draft, who could prove to be a very valuable weapon for Patrick Mahomes.
With all of that being said, Ross could still find a way to get some snaps with the Chiefs in 2025. But this could be his last chance.
The former Clemson star will be himself with Nikkio Remigio and Tyquan Thornton for the final spot at the position. With Rice perhaps missing part of the season, there could be the potential for someone to step in and contribute.
If he is not able to beat out those two, the reigning AFC champions might finally be done with Ross after just a few seasons.
