The Kansas City Chiefs' 2025 regular season was revealed last week, and now their preseason schedule is also officially set in stone with dates and times.
A few standouts from last year's preseason were running back/fullback Carson Steele, wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Cornell Powell, and cornerback Chris Roland-Wallace.
Let's examine the Chiefs' 2025 preseason schedule below.
The Chiefs head out west for their first preseason game against a Cardinals team that is trying to get over the hump into the playoffs. Arizona finished 8-9 in 2025, losing five of its last seven games. The last matchup between the Cardinals and Kansas City came in the 2022 season opener, which the Chiefs dominated from bell-to-bell en route to a 44-21 final score.
Two of the Chiefs' three preseason games will be on the road this year after having two at home in 2024. It's another west coast road trip in Week 2, as K.C. will take on a new-look Seahawks team. Gone are the likes of quarterback Geno Smith and WRs DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, in are Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp and former Chief Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Game 2 is usually when the starters get the most playing time.
The Chiefs close out the preseason at home against the Bears before heading to Sao Paolo, Brazil for their regular season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Bears are also looking to evolve into a playoff team in 2025 as they have put several nice pieces around second year QB Caleb Williams. One of those being left guard Joe Thuney, who K.C. traded to Chicago a couple of months ago. Thuney and most other starters for the Bears and Chiefs likely won't play in this game.
