Kansas City Chiefs make 17 undrafted free agent signings official ahead of rookie camp

The Kansas City Chiefs have officially released their rookie minicamp roster, including 17 undrafted free agents added following the 2024 NFL draft. 

The Chiefs always sign a healthy dose of undrafted talent to fill out their 90-man offseason roster. Last season alone they signed 15 players, and one of them (LB Cam Jones) made the initial 53-man roster. 

Here are the signed players that will join the draft class at rookie minicamp beginning Saturday:

7. James Madison WR Reggie Brown: 89
8. Villanova OT Nick Torres: 79
9. BYU P Ryan Rehkow: 46
10. Utah CB Miles Battle: 45
11. Kansas State WR Phillip Brooks: 88
12. Oklahoma OL McKade Mettauer: 70
13. Texas Tech TE Baylor Cupp: 47
14. Southern Miss LB Swayze Bozeman: 55
15. Chattanooga OL Griffin McDowell: 68
16. Kent State CB DJ Miller: 38
17. Central Connecticut State LB Luquay Washington Jr.: 50

Note: DE Eyabi Okie-Anoma is not listed as a UDFA, but a current player. That might just be a mistake on the printed roster.

The Chiefs also released three players on Friday and pulled an exclusive rights free agent tender offer from a fourth, effectively creating four roster spaces on the 90-man offseason roster. The team only had so many available roster spots and needed to make room for several incoming undrafted players.
