The 2026 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and we've got you covered with in-depth scouting reports for all of this year's top prospects.

Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion is an explosive playmaker who can stretch the field with speed, and make big plays after the catch. Despite his lack of ideal size, Concepcion still plays with a ton of physicality, and could sneak into the back half of the first round.

Here's everything NFL fans need to know about Concepcion heading into this year's draft:

KC Concepcion's Vitals

Height: 5-11

Weight: 190

Age: 21

KC Concepcion's Strengths

A big-play machine, Concepcion consistently takes the top off opposing defenses with his downfield explosiveness, forcing them to respect his deep-ball ability on every snap. He brings the same threat after the catch, with short-area burst and vision to make timely cuts and get back up to full speed, and playing with the physicality to break through arm-tackle attempts. He’s a sharp route-runner who sets DBs up for failure with precise cuts and the spatial awareness to settle into voids in zone coverage and quickly get upfield with the ball in his hands. He’s got strong hands and isn’t afraid of contact at the catch point, despite his smaller frame, and can adjust his speed at a moment’s notice to keep defenders guessing on the fly.

KC Concepcion's Weaknesses

He plays with a ton of toughness and physicality for his size, but Concepcion can still struggle against bigger, more physical corners who can frustrate him with strength and length, especially in press-man coverage. He’s a willing downfield blocker, but his size holds him back in that department as well, and he could use some improved technique to help mitigate his physical shortcomings when holding his own at the point of attack.

Final Analysis

Despite his lack of ideal size, Concepcion has dynamic playmaking ability, and he does all the little things extremely well. His reliable hands, intelligence and explosiveness make him as complete a receiver as you’ll see under six feet tall, and his ability to line up outside or in the slot increases his upside and scheme versatility. Even if he’s not a true No. 1 receiver at the next level, Concepcion could put up huge numbers in a pass-happy offense.
