K.C. milk company trolls Philadelphia fans with bottles of 'Eagles Tears'

Months after bottling up Philadelphia to win the Super Bowl, Chiefs fans continue to milk the victory for all it's worth.

To poke fun at Philly fans, the Shatto Milk Co. in Osborn, Mo., is releasing a limited run of cheesecake-flavored milk called "Eagles Tears." Each clear bottle is labeled with the title "Eagle Tears" in green letters with the number LVII to commemorate the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory in Arizona.

The back of the bottle reads:

Have you ever tasted eagle tears before? Neither had we. But we gotta say we weren’t  expecting their flavor profile to closely resemble cheesecake. Cheesesteak, maybe. But not cheesecake. Bottling them was no easy feat. We had to conquer the West, defend our home turf (twice!) and travel all the way to the desert and back. Make no mistake, Kansas City. The contents of this bottle are very precious cargo. Savor it.

Using milk to troll a fan base seems like an odd choice. Maybe it’s a Midwest thing. Had the game gone differently, it’s a safe bet Philly fans would’ve found a less wholesome manner to express their superiority. To their credit, Eagles fans seem unaffected by the smack talk coming from the Show-Me State.

At some point next year, the Chiefs will host the Eagles for a Super Bowl LVII rematch. Spoiler alert: Philadelphia will have something to say about the milk.
