Keenan Allen not happy with Chargers’ moves this offseason
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers’ offseason is perplexing even their star players.

Chargers wideout Keenan Allen took to Instagram on Sunday to question the team’s decision to rescind defensive end Chris McCain’s RFA tender, making him an unrestricted free agent. Allen posted an image of the McCain news and wrote, “I just don’t understand sometimes! But we sign people like….nvm.”

It may be worth noting that the Chargers just signed former New York Jets and Giants quarterback Geno Smith to a one-year deal earlier this month.

As for Allen himself, he just came off a career year in 2017, catching 102 passes for 1,393 yards and six touchdowns. This wouldn’t be the first time though that he stirred up controversy with some remarks on social media.
