The Buffalo Bills are hoping for some big things out of their Year 2 wide receiver Keon Coleman. Coleman shined in moments, but his lack of separation had the Bills Mafia more than worried. His rookie season concluded with 29 receptions on 57 targets for 556 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season. That's not to say he didn't leave the fanbase with some exciting moments.

Josh Allen won the MVP, but you could tell that something was missing with his weapons on offense. The team brought in Amari Cooper to help with some of their receiving woes, and with the current slate of injuries, all eyes are going to be on how the offense adapts this upcoming season.
With the team gearing up for their first preseason game against the New York Giants on Saturday, August 8, Buffalo is battling a nasty injury bug with some key players missing some time.

Buffalo is still moving forward, and Sean McDermott has expressed his "next man up" type mentality, which results in some players getting some more reps than they may not have seen without the injuries. Coleman doesn't fall in that camp as he's had a clean preseason. Luckily, with his health, he's able to grow his relationship with his superstar QB Josh Allen.
Coleman has used this offseason to grow as a player, with expectations of a Super Bowl. Even before the start of camp, the second-year receiver has spent countless hours on his craft, and it's resulted in an impressive camp. While still needing areas to grow, Coleman spoke with Trainwreck sports content creator, Mike Bundt, after practice about what he's looking for coming into the season.
Here’s my interview with Bills receiver Keon Coleman following practice. There’s high expectations for him entering his second NFL season. pic.twitter.com/NFVhRLIPcL

Bundt began, "How's camp going so far? Year 2, how do you feel going into this regular season?" The Bills WR opened up on the culture of the team and how it's made an impact. "It's great, having a lot of fun with the guys. They're getting better every day, trying to [get better]."
Bundt carried on, focusing on what improvements Coleman might have been focusing on heading into his second season: "Obviously, Year 2, trying to take a step up. What are some of the things you've been working on this offseason? You're trying to work on your game to take that next step this year?"
Bills Mafia knows all too well about the issue surrounding separation. During the last season, a graphic made its way across Bills Mafia circles showing just how lackluster the group was in that one specific area.

Coleman responded, letting the world know where he's focusing on his game, "Everything. Route running, speed work, getting catches in, chemistry with my quarterback."
Speaking on chemistry with the superstar QB, Bundt brought up the recent injuries and how it can benefit Coleman, getting those reps in. "About the chemistry at quarterback. Right now, at practice, the team is minus a few receivers. Do you feel yourself getting that chemistry with the added reps with Josh, and how are things right now between you two?"
The relationship between your WR1 and your QB1 has to be top-notch, and it's an area of his game that has shone with the added reps during this offseason. Coleman responded, "Yeah, things are pretty good. As you see some of the plays out there, great timing, great connection, great route; touchdown."
I love that response from Coleman. Toss it up, I'm going to get it, easy 6 points. While he has shown that in moments during the last season, we're hoping to get a few more of them this season.
Can’t believe Keon Coleman has the AUDACITY to drop a pass in July…

Speaking of this upcoming season, Coleman is in line for an even bigger target share as the WR takes steps toward elevating his game to help his team reach the ultimate goal of a Super Bowl. Bundt offered, "and so far during camp, it seems you've been a vocal point in this offense. What type of receiver do you want to be in the NFL? If you had it your way, what would you want to be out there on the field?"
Coleman wasted no time with his very own mic drop moment. These guys are part of the 0.01% of the population, and it's no wonder Coleman feels this way. Speaking on his own goals, Coleman offered, "the greatest receiver I can be, Hall of Fame talent: simple." Continuing and speaking about what he brings to the offense, "Throw the ball up, imma get it. Ask me to get open, I get open. Ask me to block in the run game, and I'll block. Get teammates open, I do that. Pretty much anything you ask me to do, imma do."
Ending the interview, Bundt had just one more question, and it surrounded the Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and his dynamic abilities on the football field, "I guess one more, talk about Josh Allen a little bit, and what makes him such a dynamic quarterback, and how it makes your life easier as your receiver?"
Shutting down the interview with a bang, Coleman wasted no time, "I mean, s--t, I don't have to worry about where the ball is going to be at, it's going to be in a great area for me to get it, simple.
A few years ago, Bills Mafia loved posting on social media after a Stefon Diggs touchdown, "17 + 14 = 7." However, I'm hoping for some "17 + 0 = 7" this upcoming season. Here's hoping that at the end of the year, we're celebrating Coleman's rise to stardom in the NFL.
