With the Buffalo Bills training camp in full swing, Keon Coleman has been getting a lot of attention for his performance so far.

The 2024 second-round pick was not who fans expected the Bills to select going into the draft, but Coleman quickly won over the hearts of Bills fans with his yellow jacket and his admiration for Wegmans cookies in his first press conference with the team.

2024 Season Recap

On the field, Coleman’s season was not what fans hoped for. He only recorded 556 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns on the year, although he did miss four games due to a wrist injury.

Before the injury, Coleman showed his capability to play at a high level with two great performances in back-to-back weeks.

In Week 7, Coleman put up 125 receiving yards on four receptions against the Titans, and the following week, the rookie put up 70 receiving yards and one touchdown on five receptions against the Seahawks.

He showed great potential throughout the season, using his physicality to gain space and come down with contested catches, which is exactly what made him a highly touted prospect.

Although Coleman wasn’t a superstar in 2024, his progress this training camp suggests a promising 2025 season.

Training Camp Star

Daily reports have been coming out of Coleman making big, physical plays, which are signs that he’s improving on the strongest and most dangerous aspect of his game.

Coleman has already built strong chemistry with Josh Allen, connecting on multiple highlight-reel connections. Additionally, he has received high praise from both Allen and fellow wide receiver Khalil Shakir.

While Coleman has shown major growth during camp, he’ll need to translate this improvement into the regular season to fully capitalize on his potential.

2025 Expectations

Coleman is currently one of the three receivers projected to be in the Bills starting lineup. However, with the signing of Joshua Palmer and Elijah Moore, Coleman needs to maintain a high level of performance to ensure he becomes a key target in the offense.

With the improvements Coleman has made this offseason and his continued strong showing in camp, fans should expect him to take a significant step forward in 2025.

If he can keep making plays like the one below in the regular season, there’s little doubt he’ll be one of Allen’s favorite targets on Sundays.
