The Cleveland Browns are a 1-5 football team coming out of Week 6 of the NFL season after a road loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Coming off their defeat to the Minnesota Vikings in London, things didn’t get much easier against the AFC North–leading Steelers. Cleveland fell 23-9 in a game where their offense once again sputtered. The matchup also marked the Browns’ first look at their newest defensive starter, recently acquired via trade.
“I thought Tyson did a good job considering when we got him up to speed,” Stefanski said after the loss to the Steelers. “Obviously, their great player over there made a play, but I was really pleased with how he was able to get up to speed in this game.”
Per @NextGenStats, Tyson Campbell has been lined up against DK Metcalf for 11 of his 26 routes, giving up three catches (6 targets) for 70 yds and a TD.

Denzel Ward has lined up against Metcalf for eight routes and hasn't given up a catch on two targets.
Campbell was often matched up with Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf, who finished with 95 receiving yards and a touchdown. Still, Campbell made an immediate impact, forcing a fumble on his very first play by punching the ball out from tight end Darnell Washington. In his Browns debut — following the trade that sent Greg Newsome II to Jacksonville — Campbell totaled five tackles and two pass breakups.
Overall, it was not a strong day for Cleveland’s defense, especially in the second half. Aaron Rodgers completed 21-of-30 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns, while the Browns’ pass rush — led by Myles Garrett — failed to record a sack. The Steelers finished with 335 total yards, while Cleveland managed just 248 yards of offense and played from behind throughout.
It was yet another game in which the Browns failed to reach 20 points. Cleveland has now gone 11 straight games without hitting that mark, dating back to last season, and there’s still no clear solution in sight. The Browns’ offense remains one of the league’s weakest, and until that changes, they’re going to continue to lose games.
