The San Francisco 49ers improved to 2-0 on the season after a 26-21 Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

  • The San Francisco 49ers have improved to 51-27-2 all-time against the Saints, including a 26-15 record on the road.
  • The 49ers have won five of the last eight matchups against the Saints and have won consecutive games against the Saints for the first time since the 2001 season, when the two teams were both members of the NFC West [W, 28-27 vs. NO (11/11/01); W, 38-0 at NO (1/6/02)].
