NEW ORLEANS – Just moments after the Cardinals’ victory on Sunday, Quarterback Kyler Murray was on a live stream explaining his pregame illness to internet personality FaZe Adapt.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray was dealing with an unfortunate and untimely illness on Sunday during his matchup against the New Orleans Saints, and gave more details while explaining the situation to his friend FaZe Adapt, a member of the same ESports group FaZe Clan. FaZe Clan is a professional ESports team with a massive following on social media. Murray joined FaZe Clan back on April 26th, 2021, and has been an integral part of their program ever since.

It was on a live stream where Kyler Murray called his friend via FaceTime and shed some light on his out-of-the-blue sickness. Murray went on to explain how he woke up at 4:30 a.m. and knew something was wrong, and had to attend to it. One of the biggest issues that faced Murray was stomach issues, and it crept up out of nowhere during the middle of the night.

Kyler Murray fought through the sickness on Sunday against the Saints:

Murray mentioned that he was able to take some medication to help with his symptoms. “It was all good though, we got the dub.” Murray played well for the Cardinals as he completed 21 of 29 passes while throwing for 163 yards and two touchdowns, and included highlight plays like a 45-yard pass down the sidelines to Marvin Harrison Jr. and multiple big time completions to TE Trey McBride. Murray showed consistency through the chaos and was able to fight hard enough to bring the Cardinals their first win of the 2025 NFL season.
