Kylie Kelce reacts to Jason's iconic retirement speech

Over the last few years, Kylie Kelce had heard versions of her husband, Jason Kelce's, retirement speech but she never heard the one he gave on Monday.

She shared her reaction in an interview with NBC10.

“I think I was the only one that had heard the speech before he went into it,” Kylie said. “I think it was just a perfect summary of 13 years. It was an incredible run he had as a player in the NFL."

It was an emotional day for the couple who have been together for 10 years, but Kylie couldn't help but laugh a little when Jason shared the story about their first time meeting following a Philadelphia Eagles Christmas party.

"It, of course, made me emotional," she said. "It cracks me up that he tries to talk about what he remembers from that night because he was, as I've said before, intoxicated. It was very, very sweet. Very kind. It was far too much credit."

Jason's 35-minute speech will go down in history as one of the best retirement announcements in sports.

His "football love story" received so many genuine reactions from fans everywhen that Kylie has had to stay off social media to keep herself from crying even more.

"The outpouring of love and support is expected because I know who my husband is and the way he has conducted himself and how that has touched the lives of people," she said. "But at the same time, it's still shocking."
