Kyren Williams Comes Full Circle At Pro Bowl Games
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

ORLANDO - Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams was one of the NFL's premier breakout players in 2023, and as such, he ended his season with a trip to the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

With the Pro Bowl Games taking place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, it serves as a reminder of just how far Williams has come.

The last time he was in the venue, it was during his freshman season at Notre Dame, when the Fighting Irish defeated Iowa State 33-7 in the aptly-titled Camping World Bowl on Dec. 28, 2019. Back then, Williams had just four collegiate carries under his belt and appeared in just four games to preserve his redshirt.

Fast forward over four years later, Williams returns to Camping World Stadium as a Pro Bowl selection and one of the NFL's most dynamic running backs.

"I came back for the Pro Bowl so that was kind of cool," Williams said after Sunday's flag football game. "I appreciate being able to come back here year after, for the Camping World Bowl. That was my first bowl game as a college player. So it was definitely awesome, you know, definitely all the experiences."

Williams was quiet during the game itself, because as one might expect, running was virtually non-existent in a 7-on-7 flag football contest. However, he did get to fully take in the experience, even taking his family to Universal Studios earlier in the week.

All in all, the Pro Bowl Games were a nice cherry on top of a great season for Williams. If he has anything to say about it, it won't be the last time he takes part in such an experience.
