Your Los Angeles Chargers are basically rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic when it comes to their quarterback depth, but at least they're being proactive?

At 5-9, sporting an injured quarterback alongside an interim head coach and general manager, the Bolts' 2023 season as we know it is done for.

But that hasn't stopped freshly-elevated GM JoJo Wooden from making some interesting moves at the most important position in the sport.

First, he inked ex-New England Patriots practice squad QB Will Grier to a deal on the Chargers' active roster. Then, in a corresponding move, he waived third-stringer Max Duggan from LA to accomodate the movie.

Now, Duggan is back, but only the club's practice squad, per a Chargers team announcement on its official X/Twitter page.

Essentially, Grier just leapfrogged Duggan on the Los Angeles depth chart, behind current starter Easton Stick and Pro Bowler Justin Herbert, the latter of whom is done for the year with a fractured right index finger, which essentially was the official nail in the coffin for this utterly disappointing year.
