Before Saturday's contest, Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson had a 1-4 record against their AFC North rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. This was the narrative that the two-time PFWA MVP faced all week long heading into the highly anticipated Baltimore-Pittsburgh clash.

Amid the criticism, however, Jackson stepped it up during the game to lead the Ravens to a convincing 34-17 victory. The former Louisville standout completed 15-of-23 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns. He did throw one interception, but Jackson also had nine carries for an additional 22 yards.

After the game, Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews caught up with Jackson on the field. The veteran sportscaster asked Jackson what it took for him to rise to the occasion to lead his team to victory.

Jackson, however, was quick to heap praise on his teammates.

"Just all of us, all phases playing a great game," he said. "Staying locked in no matter what happened in the game. We knew what type of battle this would be... I feel like we played a better game against those guys. And we got it done."

Andrews then asked Jackson how this win felt for him on a personal level, considering all the criticism he faced heading into Sunday's clash.

"Yeah, it felt good," Jackon responded. "Any win feels good, but especially against a rival like this. Yeah, I got a little monkey off my back for the time being right now."

The interview quickly turned heads on social media. As of writing, the video above has already amassed over 144,000 views in less than two hours.

As always, Andrews delivered another excellent interview that captured Jackson's emotions after a hard-fought battle against one of their biggest rivals.

Andrews provided sideline commentary for Fox Sports in this one alongside Tom Rinaldi. The network had their No. 1 broadcast team covering Saturday's clash, with Kevin Burkhardt providing play-by-play commentary with Tom Brady.

As for Jackson and the Ravens, this win saw them improve to 10-5 to tie the Steelers for the top spot in the division and officially clinch a playoff spot.

As Jackson said, it's a quick turnaround for them as they battle the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium for a Christmas Day showdown.
