The Philadelphia Eagles are fresh off a Super Bowl LIX victory as they head into the 2025 NFL season.

In his fourth season at the helm for the Eagles, head coach Nick Sirianni led the team to a 14-3 regular-season record before embarking on the franchise's second Super Bowl title run.

On Monday, the Eagles rewarded Sirianni with a multi-year contract extension.

"As an organization, we have always strived to create a championship culture of sustained success," Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said in a statement. "Nothing is more important to fostering such an environment than having tremendous leadership. Nick has embodied everything we were looking for in a head coach since we hired him four years ago. His authentic style of leadership, football intelligence, passion for the game, and growth mindset have helped to bring out the best in our team. I am excited for what the future holds for the Philadelphia Eagles."

Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson earned his sixth Pro-Bowl selection in 2024. Before Philadelphia's dominant Super Bowl LIX win over the Kansas City Chiefs, the 35-year-old lineman made it very clear that he intends to suit up for at least one more season in 2025.

Johnson is clearly excited about this contract extension for Sirianni. The two-time All-Pro veteran took to social media with a simple reaction to the announcement.

The Eagles are 48-20 in the regular season (54-23 including the playoffs) since Sirianni took over as head coach in 2021. He's the first coach in NFL history to lead his team to four playoff appearances, two conference titles and a Super Bowl title in his first four seasons as head coach.

The Eagles will begin their 2025 NFL campaign with a Week 1 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sep. 4.
