The Philadelphia Eagles entered the offseason with needing to find a way to get the offense back on track. A large part of this was going to be them figuring out how to get Saquon Barkley involved at an impactful level once again.
According to Lane Johnson, the Eagles might have found the way they can do so.
Johnson specifically went on to say, “We will see the Saquon of two years ago.”

With Sean Mannion taking over as the Eagles’ offensive coordinator, this is important. With Barkley entering his age-29 season and entering a new scheme, this statement from Johnson is bold, but clearly has reasoning behind it.
With Mannion installing an offense influenced by Sean McVay, Kyle Shannon, and Matt LaFleur, it should end up opening up more rushing lanes for Barkley while getting him more involved as a receiver as well.
