WWE is getting a large incentive from Las Vegas. As previously reported, Las Vegas is again hosting WrestleMania at Allegiant Stadium — the home of the NFL team, the Las Vegas Raiders. According to the latest “The Wrestling Observer Newsletter,” Dave Meltzer has revealed the price it pays to host the huge event.

Per the report via WrestleTalk, Las Vegas is paying $6 million to host Wrestlemania 42. That includes not only the big show, but also the Hall of Famer Ceremony, which, for those who forgot, Stephanie McMahon is going into the 2026 Hall of Fame. As well as the WWE SmackDown before, the WWE RAW after, NXT Stand & Deliver, and WWE World.
It’s worth bringing up that a November 12 report from “The Las Vegas Review-Journal,” revealed that the Las Vegas tourism board approved the spending of over $7 million for hosting WrestleMania and buying tickets to the 2025 Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix. It was confirmed in the report that the city paid $6 million for a sponsorship agreement with WWE to host WrestleMania 42.
Las Vegas, through the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, paid WWE a $5 million sponsorship grant to host WrestleMania 41, and next year it is $1 million more. The first night’s main event for WrestleMania 41 was Seth Rollins defeating Roman Reigns and CM Punk. It was when Paul Heyman turned both on his former friend, Punk, and his Tribal Chief, Reigns. Night two’s main event was John Cena’s final WrestleMania match. He was going into the match as a heel. The match saw him defeat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title. Rhodes would regain the title at SummerSlam.
In 2027, for WrestleMania 43, the event will be taking place outside of North America for the first time. The location? Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The country, according to Bleacher Report, is reportedly paying around $250 million to host the event. So, no wonder WWE decided to move it there with that kind of price tag. Saudi Arabia is also hosting the 2026 Royal Rumble. It will be the first time that the Royal Rumble is going to be outside of North America. So that’s a look at what Las Vegas and Saudi Arabia are shelling out to host WrestleMania.
