Las Vegas Raiders add a player to the practice squad that has the potential to get elevated in Week 5

The Las Vegas Raiders made some roster moves last week before their matchup with the Cleveland Browns.

They had some injuries, and because of that, made some active roster signings, practice squad signings, and even released some players. One of the players they released was former Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver, who also happened to make the Raiders' initial 53-man roster , Ramel Keyton.

Keyton was great in the preseason and especially in training camp. But, he wasn't going to see the field much because of others in front of him and what they bring on special teams.

But, now he is being signed to the practice squad after being cut from the active roster , exactly what we thought would happen. And, this week against the Denver Broncos, he could be potentially elevated on game day.

Sometimes, when teams have injuries, they will elevate players to the active roster rather than just not have guys behind that injured player for depth. In this case, Davante Adams could still be out next week, as he was reported to be week-to-week by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

And, we saw in the game against the Cleveland Browns that wide receiver Tyreik McAllister was a bit banged up with a shoulder injury. So, there's a legitimate chance for him to get elevated. It doesn't mean he will, but there's a chance.
