Don't get it twisted; the best defensive player in the league plays nasty, but he's still a great dude. Not to mention, he has done everything the Raiders have asked and could have ever wanted. That's why they are doing Crosby a huge favor before the 2024 season starts.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Las Vegas Raiders are reworking Maxx Crosby's contract a bit, which includes a $6 million pay raise for this year, with $1.2 million moving over into 2025.
Raiders reworked the contract of three-time Pro Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to give him a $6 million raise for the upcoming season, per league sources.

The Raiders spent a lot of money this offseason on Christian Wilkins, and rightfully so. However, according to Over the Cap, they still had around $17 million in cap space before the move.
The Raiders just want to show their appreciation to Crosby, and who can blame them? The three-time Pro Bowler, and should be 2023 Defensive Player of the Year, deserves it.
