Las Vegas Raiders just got some of the best news they could have asked for that will be vital to their 2025 season

Last year, the Las Vegas Raiders dealt with more injuries than maybe any other team in the entire league; the Detroit Lions are certainly up there. But some of them weren't just injuries to players that don't play much, they were big-time injuries to big-time players.

The Raiders dealt with injuries to starters all over the place, but most notably Jakorian Bennett, who was the best cornerback on the team at the time, Christian Wilkins for the season, Marcus Epps, Davante Adams when he was on the team, and of course, Maxx Crosby, who missed his first game ever. Crosby ended up missing the end of the season to get surgery on his foot, so that way he could have a higher chance of being ready by the start of the 2025 season.

And, he is ready. With OTAs starting, we weren't sure how limited Crosby would be. It turns out, he isn't.

"Maxx looks great. He's going full speed 100%," head coach Pete Carroll said.

That is some of the best news fans could have gotten. Barring a crazy setback or offseason injury, it feels like that means Crosby will be good to go when training camp comes around and the guys put the pads on.

For him, this has not been easy at all.

"I mean, I feel like a little kid out there. I missed it. The rehab started in December. I literally didn't have an off-season. I've been here the whole time. It's been five months of hardcore training, rehabbing, every single day and sacrificing even more. How can I go to an even higher level? Last year was definitely one of the hardest years of my life in general, so many things going on, battling injuries, and not being able to be myself at times, I felt like. There are no excuses. It's just, that it's tough. It's part of the game, and that's what comes with it. But I feel like everything happens for a reason. And it's just been incredible being out there with my teammates, being able to just fully be myself, not hesitate on any type of cut and just cut it loose. It's the best feeling on the planet. I'm having so much fun out here, just being 100% and no hesitation. It's the greatest feeling on the planet. Football is my life; I give everything to it. So, yeah, being out here and just being healthy, running around, and feeling the energy, and being a part of setting that standard, that's what I'm all about." - Maxx Crosby

Crosby is the heart and soul of the team and really of the franchise. He is not just a Raider, but the Raider -- the one that represents the franchise through and through. There is a reason the team was willing to make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL. Of course, that only lasted for a bit as the Cleveland Browns gave Myles Garrett a contract extension.

But having Crosby available during OTAs and training camp will be huge for this team. And, seeing how he was at OTAs -- 100%-- is some of the best news the Raiders could have asked for.
