Ever since former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady joined the Las Vegas Raiders ownership group, things have been going well for the franchise.
They have now started a new regime, one that they hope will actually provide successful results, since the guy leading the charger in former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, has actually had success before. He's won one Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos, and went to another one, as a head coach, too, not an offensive coordinator.
Then, of course, John Spytek, the former Bucs assistant GM, has been doing a fantastic job of putting together the roster. He, Carroll, and Brady made the decision to trade for Geno Smith, and that feels like it could be a decision that sees the Raiders having their best quarterback in a long time.
We know Brady, he is the ultimate competitor. He wants to win at everything, no matter what it is. He wouldn't get into the ownership business if he didn't want to win. And, he likes winning so much, that he seems interested in doing it in the UFL with his own team.
The UFL is the current spring football league, once broken into two different leagues the USFL and the XFL. They combined last year, and have started their second season this spring, with the finish to the league coming very soon.
There are now reports that Brady is interested in starting his own team.

Honestly, the Oakland Invaders seems like a very cool name, and it feels really cool that he wants to put a football team back in Oakland. Who knows, if it happens, Raiders fans may have a good response to it.
