The Las Vegas Raiders need two offensive line positions: a right tackle and a right guard. Basically, the entire right side of the offensive line needs improvement, along with the starter position and depth. They aren't perfect, but they are close to having a roster that can compete at a high level.
This upcoming draft should help them in that department. However, after some recent news, it's apparent that the Raiders have ticked one need off the list before the draft starts. Before the draft, they needed a starter-level guard and a guard to add some depth. Now, they may not need one or the other.
On Monday, the Las Vegas Raiders re-signed offensive guard Jordan Meredith. Meredith was previously used as a depth piece, but that doesn't mean he can't win the job in training camp.

This signing also doesn't mean that the Raiders still won't draft an interior offensive lineman, which they should. However, now it's about what happens in training camp if they do draft one. Who wins the battle for the starting spot? The rookie or Meredith, who has played in 18 games and started one game for the Raiders.
Only time will tell.
