Las Vegas Sphere puts Saint Nick's Super Bowl LII ring on display
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Sphere is showing the Philadelphia Eagles some love during Super Bowl LVIII week.

The Sphere, which is a 2.3 billion dollar sphere-shaped video screen, displayed past Super Bowl rings the other night and Nick Foles' from the Eagles' 2018 SBLII win made the cut.

Foles filled in for the injured Carson Wentz that season and led the Birds to a 43-33 Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots on Feb. 4, 2018. It was a huge moment for Eagles franchise history as it marked their first-ever Super Bowl win.

It was also a big moment for Foles, who completed 28 of 43 passes for 373 yards with three passing touchdowns in the win and was named Super Bowl MVP.

The Eagles made it to the Super Bowl again last year but fell to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now, KC will look to win back-to-back rings when they face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

I am certain whichever team wins will take over the Sphere, but it was bittersweet to see Saint Nick and the Eagles receive a shout-out in such a unique way.

Located in the heart of Sin City, the Sphere stands 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, which makes it the largest sphere-shaped structure in the world. It was built to host concerts and other entertainment events ... and apparently to show off some legendary bling.
