With just three weeks left to go in the regular season, true MVP candidates are starting to separate themselves from the pack. There's still just enough time left for an under-the-radar player to emerge as a favorite, but the time to get hot is now.

Notes and trends

As he has been for weeks, Allen remains the favorite across the board. Jackson has passed Barkley at No. 2 across the board after a huge five touchdown performance last week. Darnold and Mayfield have shot up after a hot last few weeks, but will need to stay on fire and have Allen put up a disappointing finish. 

Statistically, Burrow is very deserving of MVP, but the Bengals' record and potentially missing the playoffs is holding him back. If he stays at his current pace and Cincinnati manages to sneak into the postseason, he could be a dark horse to win the award.
