Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton sat out practice on Wednesday due to his knee injury.

The Ravens practiced for the first time this week on Wednesday, which came a day after they opted not to practice. The Ravens' first injury report of the week was an estimated one, and if they had practiced on Tuesday, Hamilton would have been a limited participant in the session.

Hamilton suffered a knee injury during the Ravens’ road win over the San Francisco 49ers. He sustained the ailment after he completed a tackle on wideout Brandon Aiyuk during the fourth quarter of the game. The second-year safety said last Thursday that the injury "could have been worse."

Hamilton took part in just one of Baltimore’s practice sessions last week. Hamilton was limited in practice on Thursday, and he went on to sit out practice on Friday, which played into the Ravens’ final call to sideline him from their home matchup against the Miami Dolphins. The likes of Arthur Maulet and Daryl Worley were called on to help fill in for the former Notre Dame standout in the contest.

Taking into account that the Ravens have already clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC, they could once again take the conservative route with Hamilton’s ailment and rule him out against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18.

Hamilton has recorded 81 total tackles and 3.0 sacks through 15 games played this season.
