The "Sunday NFL Countdown" crew was in New Orleans to cover the Super Bowl LIX matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.
During the show, as ESPN host Mike Greenberg was introducing the rest of the cast, he welcomed NFL legend Randy Moss back to the set.
Moss has been with the ESPN crew since 2016 following an incredible career in the NFL. While he's grown to be one of the most well-known analysts on the show, Moss has missed time during the 2024 season.
The former NFL star has been battling cancer, which he announced in early December. He has since been recovering after having surgery to work against a cancerous mass in his bile duct, per the Associated Press and ESPN.
Upon his return to ESPN, fellow network analyst Laura Rutledge took to the comment section, posting a red heart emoji in support of Moss.

Before commenting on Moss' return, Rutledge also took to social media to share a heartfelt message about the ESPN "NFL Live" crew.
"So thankful for another season with my NFL Live family," Rutledge said. "They mean the world to me and so do all of you. Reminder: we are a year round show so we will be with you daily at 4pm on ESPN all off season! See you Monday!"
Rutledge and Moss are both in attendance for Super Bowl LIX, covering a potentially historic game in the NFL.
A win for the Chiefs on Sunday would make them the first team to win three straight Super Bowl titles.
