Both the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins enter their “Monday Night Football” matchup looking to secure their first win of the season. These two teams have yet to secure a victory this season, which should change after this game.

It’s the Dolphins who have been in the driver’s seat for this one, taking a 17-3 lead after Darren Waller scored his second touchdown for Miami early in the third quarter.

Jets quarterback Justin Fields answered back, though, with an incredible 43-yard run to score New York’s first TD of the evening. At fourth-and-1 and the Jets down big, Fields conjured up some magic by scrambling behind the line of scrimmage and escaping with a burst of speed for the touchdown.

The run was so impressive that it caught the attention of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. The NBA’s all-time leading scorer had six words for Fields.

“Wow Justin Fields! What a play,” the four-time NBA champion posted on X.

James is a long-time football fan, and he knows a good play when he sees one. Clearly, this TD run by Fields left quite an impression on the Lakers star, who is currently in the midst of his preparation for what will be his 23rd NBA season.

As for Fields, the 26-year-old QB is having one of his best games for the Jets so far, following his offseason move to New York. As of writing, the former Georgia and Ohio State star has 11-of-14 completed passes for 110 yards. He's rushed five times for 73 yards and one TD.

The Jets are still down, though, 24-10, entering the fourth quarter.
