With the Buffalo Bills knocking on the door of their first Super Bowl appearance in 31 years, fans got to hear from the only man to get them there. Former Bills coach Marv Leavy appeared on the "Beal in Bills" podcast ahead of the team's AFC Championship matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

"I've got my ankles taped and I'm ready to go" teased Levy, who sounded as fit as a fiddle at 99 years old on the podcast.

Levy was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001 after a historic coaching career. In his 12 years with the Bills, Buffalo had a 112-70 record, and famously made four straight Super Bowl appearances from 1990-1993, but were never able to win the big game.

Prior to Buffalo, Levy coached the Kansas City Chiefs and Montreal Alouettes. Levy led the Alouettes to two Grey Cup Championships in the CFL, which led to him becoming one of just three people to be enshrined in both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.

Levy was famous for his historical references when coaching, and for his mantra "Where else would you rather be... than right here, right now?" Which has become a slogan of the Bills' fanbase as well. Levy discusses how he started with the mantra on the show.

Levy's wife Fran also joined the show, giving her own perspective on some of the tall tales told from Levy's time.

The Bills have been defeated by the Chiefs in three of the last four playoffs, and Buffalo is trying to end the streak on Saturday in the AFC Championship. Bills' quarterback Josh Allen is playing some of the best football of his career, and fans are hoping to end the Super Bowl drought.
