Leonard Fournette could be ready for Week 7

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Marrone had good news about running back Leonard Fournette on Friday, at least for the moment.

Marrone said Fournette could play in Week 7 after running a bit in Friday’s practice.

Jalen Ramsey is 50-50 for Sunday. Has some soreness in his knee. “We’ll monitor it,” Doug Marrone said.

Both Leonard Fournette and D.J. Hayden ran today. Marrone said they both have a chance to play next week. #Jaguars

Fournette has only featured twice this season with a nagging hamstring injury and has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. However, some previous reports indicated that he may not return until November. For there to even be a discussion about him playing in Week 7 is a huge positive.
