The Detroit Lions fell to 4-2 after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs 30-17 on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 6.
Coming in, the Lions were riding a four-game winning streak with victories over the Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.
Lions defensive tackle Alim McNeill has yet to play this season after suffering a torn ACL in Week 15 of last year. Since then, he has been rehabbing, looking to get back on the field to bolster a strong Detroit defense.
As the Lions gear up for a home game against Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported via head coach Dan Campbell that McNeill is "freakin' playing."

McNeill is in his fifth season in the NFL after the Lions selected him in the third round of the 2021 draft.
He has proven to be a strong piece alongside a defensive line that also includes Aidan Hutchinson, D.J. Reader and Al-Quadin Muhammad.
Last season, McNeill recorded 25 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble and five stuffs.
He was a first-team All-American and first-team All-ACC back in college with the NC State Wolfpack.
Kickoff between the Lions and the Buccaneers (5-1) is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on "Monday Night Football."
