Lions have six new starters in final depth chart prediction
Kimberly P. Mitchell / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Detroit Lions final preseason game is tomorrow and then things are going to really start coming into view in terms of what this team is going to look like in 2024. Before we get to that one, we want to make one more prediction as to what this teams' depth chart is going to look like this season. Here it is.

You can see a few things jump out at you here. One is that Vaki is both the Lions RB3 and WR4. The Lions just didn't have a lot of receivers that earned a spot on the roster and Vaki has shown that he can be part of the passing game. Kaden Davis makes his first 53-man roster ever. This one isn't set in stone. He could lose this spot if the Lions add a receiver at some point.

Dan Campbell declared Kalif Raymond as the team's WR3 earlier this week. That could also change if the Lions bring someone in.

Nate Sudfeld is your QB2 because everything the Lions do and say points towards the fact that they don't see Hendon Hooker as someone who is quite ready to take that role on. That could change at some point this year, but right now it seems to be Sudfeld's job.

Pretty standard stuff on the defensive side of things. Amik Robertson has more than earned that starting nickel job. It' should be fun to see what he's able to do there.

Davenport can be really good if he stays healthy. This Lions defensive line looks like it's going to be a problem for opposing teams.
