The Detroit Lions won't have to play without star tight end Sam LaPorta again this weekend.
LaPorta didn't carry an injury designation on Friday's final injury report ahead of the team's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Cornerback Ennis Rakestraw popped up with a hamstring injury, however, and will miss Sunday's game. Additionally, corners Terrion Arnold and Emmanuel Moseley are both considered questionable, although both seem to be in a good spot.
On Moseley, who is also still on injured reserve, head coach Dan Campbell said he's "trending the right way" and could be activated this weekend. Either way, the coaches see a big role for him when he's ready.
“We see him doing a little bit of everything — corner, nickel, safety — he’s help is what he is, he brings another piece for us that we can use,” Campbell said of Moseley.
The coach also said Arnold "should be good," adding that he's not concerned heading into the weekend.
Campbell also provided some other injury updates on Friday, saying the team is "hopeful" that linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin will only miss the required four games on injured reserve as he recovers from a neck injury, although an exact timeline is still to be determined. Reeves-Maybin has already missed the past two games and will be eligible to return for the Dec. 5 game against Green Bay.
Of LaPorta, Campbell said, “He’s been good. Here we go, two days in and feel like he’s trending the right way. He looks pretty good, looks like he has fresh legs so that’s good.”
Meanwhile, the Colts will be without starting left tackle Bernhard Raimann, who is dealing with a knee injury. Defensive end Tyquan Lewis is questionable.
The Lions and Colts are scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. (ET) at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.
