Lions' Jameson Williams dropped the mic on Ben Johnson after 52-21 win

It remains to be seen who will be the big winner between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson after the former offensive coordinator decided to bolt town for a division rival, but Dan Campbell made it painfully clear that Round 1 on the scorecards will go to the good guys in Honolulu blue.

Not only did the Lions beat up Johnson to send his new team down to 0-2, but they scored 52 points in a performance that was so dominant that it wouldn't have mattered how good Johnson was as a play-caller. Jared Goff threw five touchdowns and looked every bit as dominant as he did during the Johnson era.

Wide receiver Jameson Williams made good use of his two catches on the day, as he tallied 108 yards through the air and a touchdown.

When asked by a reporter if the offense is working as well as it did when Johnson was in town, Williams simply implored them to look at the 50-burger the Lions hung on the scoreboard as proof that this cast of characters is what makes this offense special.

Lions fans were ready to declare that the sky was falling after new offensive coordinator John Morton looked in over his skis during a Week 1 loss against Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers. However, after Green Bay also dominated in Week 2 vs. Washington, it became clear that they have a truly elite defense.

Morton and the Lions were in attack mode from the jump, taking advantage of a Bears defense that was missing some of the heavy hitters in the secondary. Even if Johnson and defensive coordinator Dennis Allen were playing with a full deck, giving up that many points in a game is simply not acceptable.

The Lions needed a get-right game, as their next matchup comes against a Baltimore Ravens team that many believe could face the Lions in a hypothetical Super Bowl matchup. The possibiity of going into that game with an 0-2 record would have been very difficult to swallow.

While Lions appear to have righted the ship after a dreadful start to the season, Johnson and the Bears need to figure out if Caleb Williams can be good enough to reverse this team's fortunes. Safe to say Detroit is in the much more enviable position right now.
