The Detroit Lions racked up quite a bill at their rookie dinner this year.
The rookie dinner is a time-tested tradition among NFL teams where rookies have to foot the bill for an extravagant dinner the team's veterans get to enjoy.
This year it was Terrion Arnold's turn to take on the dinner and it was an expensive endeavor.
He recently posted a video to Instagram showing the bill from this year and revealed that it cost $102,400.
It's too bad Arnold didn't include the itemized bill because I'd really like to know how you can rack up a bill of $80 thousand before tax and tip.
With a guest count of 20 people, that means the team spent an average of $4000 per person.
The Detroit Free Press' Susan Selasky wrote about Sexy Steak in February of 2024 and listed the cost of their 32oz porterhouse at $145.
If each player got two of those, they would have eight pounds each of steak and it still would only account for $5800 of the bill.
Maybe it was like that scene in "The Wolf of Wall Street" and the team spent $26 thousand on sides.
Luckily for Arnold, this dinner doesn't really even put a dent in the money he has already made as a first-round pick in the NFL.
According to Over the Cap, Arnold made just over $8 million during his rookie season. He's due to make $1.45 million in salary for his second year in the league.
Hopefully he gets plenty of sides when it's his turn to enjoy the rookie dinner next year.
