The Lions are signing defensive end Isaiah Thomas off of the Bengals practice squad according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
The former seventh round pick appeared in 10 games for the Cleveland Browns in 2022, racking up nine tackles, two passes defensed and one sack.
The Bengals signed Thomas to their practice squad on Aug. 29. Once the transaction is complete, they'll have an open spot on their 16-man practice squad.
The Lions make the move just two days after losing star pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson for the season after he suffered a gruesome leg injury.
