Miami’s running back availability remains unsettled heading into Sunday’s game against Detroit. Jaylen Wright and Kaytron Allen are questionable with quadriceps injuries, while the Lions have ruled out Jack Campbell, Kerby Joseph, Cade Mays, D.J. Reed and DJ Wonnum. Friday’s official injury report replaces the earlier practice-only picture with final game designations. Both teams medical tent has been full this week.
The Dolphins also listed Malik Herring as questionable with a neck injury. Detroit has three questionable players including Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jacob Saylors and Sione Vaki. Neither team listed anyone as doubtful.
Wright remained limited Friday after returning to practice Thursday following a Wednesday absence. Allen progressed from limited participation on Wednesday and Thursday to a full practice Friday, but he still carries a questionable designation. That distinction matters: Allen’s improved participation did not remove the uncertainty about whether he will play Sunday.
Herring was limited all three days. Long snapper Tucker Addington also remained limited throughout the week with a shoulder injury, but he received no game-status designation. Tight end Will Kacmarek, listed with a hamstring injury, advanced to full participation Friday and likewise has no designation for the game.
Chop Robinson (knee), Zach Sieler (shoulder), Michael Taaffe (wrist) and Dante Trader Jr. (shoulder) all moved from limited participation Thursday to full participation Friday. None received a game-status designation. Those updates replace the earlier conditional discussion of potential absences, without establishing how much each player will be used.
Kadyn Proctor (concussion), Malik Willis (groin) and Reese Taylor practiced fully all three days and have no game-status designation. The updated official report lists Taylor with a quadriceps injury, correcting the earlier version reviewed for this story, which did not identify his injury.
Campbell (neck), Mays (ankle), Reed (hip) and Wonnum (concussion) did not practice all week and are out. Joseph, who remained limited with a knee injury, is also out. His designation is another reminder that participating in practice does not necessarily mean a player will be available on game day.
St. Brown (rib) and Saylors (neck) remained limited Friday and are questionable. Vaki is a new addition: Detroit listed him with an ankle injury Friday, when he did not participate, and designated him questionable. He was not listed on Wednesday’s or Thursday’s report.
Brian Branch (concussion) and Amen Ogbongbemiga (toe) remained full participants Friday after improving Thursday. Rock Ya-Sin (cramps) practiced fully throughout the week. All three have no game-status designation. Detroit’s Wednesday participation entries were estimates because the team held a walkthrough.
