Los Angeles Chargers Injury Update Week 12 – Key Offensive Players Expected To Play
Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight’s primetime matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Baltimore Ravens is a must-win for the Chargers. They are still missing some important players, but are potentially getting two key offensive players back.

Los Angeles Chargers Injury Update Week 12 – Key Offensive Players Expected To Play

Gerald Everett – TE

Gerald Everett missed last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers but he was a full participant in Friday’s practice. He has the questionable tag but is expected to suit up Sunday night.

On the season, Everett has 21 receptions for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns. Not eye-popping stats, but Everett adds an element to the offense from the tight end position that they lack severely without him in the lineup. Kellen Moore really utilized the tight end position during his time in Dallas, so the expectation was that Everett could have a monster year. That has yet to transpire, but getting him back in the lineup will get him back on track.

Jalen Guyton – WR

Jalen Guyton has only played in two games so far in the 2023 season, after starting the year on IR and then missing last week’s game. Guyton was a limited participant in Friday’s practice and has the questionable tag, but he is expected to play on Sunday night, as well.

There were questions about Guyton’s role in the offense after the Chargers drafted both Quentin Johnston and Derius Davis in this year’s draft, and with his injuries continuing to pile up, that question still remains.

In his two games played, Guyton has 4 catches for 41 yards but does have a touchdown. How involved will he be in tonight’s game plan? You have to think that the Chargers can at least utilize his speed for clear-out routes.

You can catch all the action on Sunday Night at 5:20 PM on NBC.
