Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert Reveals Thoughts on Playing for HC Jim Harbaugh
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers arguably made the biggest head coach hire of the offseason. Los Angeles hired Jim Harbaugh immediately following his national championship win with the Michigan Wolverines. Now, Harbaugh and QB Justin Herbert will get a chance to work together. Today, Herbert revealed his thoughts on that.

Justin Herbert Is “Fired Up” to Work With Jim Harbaugh

Recently, Chargers QB Justin Herbert appeared on the “Chasin’ It” podcast with former NFL QB Chase Daniel and Trey Wingo. The two of them had a chance to interview Herbert and get an idea of what he thought about getting to work with Harbaugh. Herbert did not shy away from revealing his excitement at this prospect.

“I’m fired up… He (Jim Harbaugh) has had success wherever he goes. He wants to win and I’m really excited to play for him.” -Justin Herbert

Los Angeles Chargers Moving Forward

The Chargers hope to bounce back from a disappointing 2023 season. Before Herbert suffered a season-ending injury, he had 20 touchdown passes and 3,134 passing yards. However, the Chargers finished with a mere 5-12 record.

Jim Harbaugh has had success in the NFL before. About 11 years ago, he led the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl XLVII appearance. Now, he hopes to go further than that with the Chargers.
