The Chargers know the danger of complacency. After a convincing victory, the focus is squarely on avoiding a repeat of an earlier-season stumble against the New York Giants.
Offensively, the Chargers are a force. Quarterback Justin Herbert leads the NFL with 2,140 passing yards and has thrown three touchdowns in each of his last two games. His connection with veteran receiver Keenan Allen remains a cornerstone of their attack.
The Titans’ offense ranks last in the league in both total yards and points per game, a stark contrast to the explosive unit they’ll face on Sunday. Injuries have ravaged their roster, with key players like defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons and wide receiver Calvin Ridley sidelined.
Despite the team’s struggles, there are a few bright spots. Chimere Dike, has been a dynamic playmaker, leading the NFL with 1,294 all-purpose yards—the most by any player through eight games since 2011. On defense, linebacker Cedric Gray has been a tackling machine, racking up 56 total tackles in his last five contests.
There is little evidence that the Titans have enough fight to avoid a blowout. The Chargers, who started the season strong, will cover.
