There isn't exactly a lot of meat on the Los Angeles Rams 2025 draft bone.
The last two drafts were super deep with enough production to matter, and the franchise really cares more about free agency, but after a ton of trades and lots of maneuvering, there's an outside shot this draft was just a fun exercise to keep busy.
Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson was taken at least a round too early in the second, but Michigan edge rusher Josaiah Stewart was a nice option in the third.
Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter should work in this offense - the Rams know RBs - but that's about it. Everyone else was taken in the fifth round or later.
And here's the worst part. It wasn't a draft that can help maximize the near-end of the Matthew Stafford era, and it didn't jump on a sliding value quarterback to develop for the future.

4 (117) Jarquez Hunter, RB Auburn
5 (148) Ty Hamilton, DT Ohio State
5 (172) Chris Paul, LB Ole Miss
7 (242) Konata Mumphfield, WR Pitt
What Went Right?
Not much.
Chris Paul was a good value pick in the fifth, but he's a still a fifth-rounder. Again, Jarquez Hunter should stick as part of the rotation, and yeah, Terrance Ferguson really should find a role as a key part of the passing game.
What Went Wrong?
Again, there's not a ton of value. And again, there wasn't any move to deal with the quarterbacks, even with a slew of promising options sliding. That, and there was nothing done to come up with an option at corner.
Best Value Pick: Chris Paul, LB Ole Miss
Biggest Reach: Jarquez Hunter, RB Auburn
Draft Grade: D
2023 Ranking: 4 | 2024 Ranking: 23
